My goal is to make your session as fun and relaxed as possible. I have a candid, story-telling approach and my goal is to capture personality, relationships and personal style. To that end, I will work with my clients to customize their session so that it reflects who they are and what they love. Portrait photography is personal, and I tailor each clients session by getting to know them and communicating closely about locations, outfits, accessories, style and expectations.
I'm very much a peoples person, and through out each session I love to joke, interact and draw out personalities. I know that for some people (myself included!) being in front of the camera can be inevitably awkward, so I always make sure you feel comfortable. I focus on the bond between people rather than the perfect pose and often find that those in-between moments, where laughter is present and loving gazes are shared, make for the best family keepsakes. I have a natural approach to photographing children by letting them play and be themselves, and find this enables me to capture a wider range of emotions and expressions.
I love story telling through my camera. Its a true passion for me. I believe the very best story is your own and I hope to have the privilege to capture yours.
